Zero complaints! We enjoyed everything. Our hibachi chef was awesome. He kept is entertained. Food was delicious. If you bring younger ones the rule is you must purchase them their own hibachi plate if they are seated at the hibachi grill. My 4 year old daughter had chicken hibachi, I had shrimp hibachi and my husband had steak hibachi. The starter soup is really flavorful and the sauces are amazing. I had a trio of sauces, my fav was the yum yum sauce. The ambience is on point and the decor down to the light fixtures and bathroom faucets are beautiful. This is definitely a spot I will be dining at again!.... Oh and there is also a singing chef lol

The food was so amazing! I walked in to this beautiful environment. The staffs were welcoming and sweet. There were two options to either dine in for regular dining or hibachi. My friends and I chose the regular dining. Our waitress was the sweetest person ever we never got her name but she was hilarious and caring. The food we got were delicious and we will definitely be back again! Everyone should go right now With friend or family!

Before coming to Louisiana, my favorite sushi place was Benihana Anchorage Alaska, so my comparison to sushi was based on who can beat their service and food quality. And Kasai did just that. Kasai has a really lovely food display and the taste is really, really fantastic. The rolls themselves are nice sized, and I know I said really tasty, but they are really tasty. The service is really good as well the servers also have knowledge of the menu and assisted in making choices. Finally, the atmosphere is amazing, I haven't done the hibachi yet, but normal dining the seating area and space is large and well laid out. I can safely say Kasai is my favorite sushi place in Lafayette and, based on the atmosphere, gets the edge over Benihana. Keep up the good work. Will surely be back again.

Just went with a group of friends to get the full hibachi show. Staff was friendly, chef was awesome, and the food was great. Best calamari I have had outside of Japan. Atmosphere a was very clean and modern. Price is high but reasonable for the quality.
